What's up you guys. Just picked up my first automatic ('90, 2+0, N/A), and I went through the standard 'NA that's been sitting' checklist. Find an OEM MAF in half decent shape, change the oil, fresh fuel & battery, patch out the PTU adapter harness, clean every connector you can get to, drop a few connector clips down into the valley, etc. And now it runs good. However, the trans has been a complete pain. I was able to get it to spit out ONE code (3rd flash, TPS) and since then it just gives the 16 flashes on startup, and is unreactive to the code pull procedure. Symptoms include: Hard shifting Late shifting Cannot engine brake, engine comes down to idle 2000rpm power cut that can be pushed through with extra throttle input Can only be locked into 1st gear, 2nd is unresponsiveThe one time it shifted through all the gears, they all held fine. The converter even locked up! It definitely is electrical in nature. Anything pop into you guy's heads as to the one (or many) issues could be causing the train wreck of an auto? (and does anyone on the east coast have a half decent 5spd I could pull a swap from? :))
